My Last Vacation

 During my last vacation I traveled to Torreón. I really like going there because I have family, and it is easier for us to gather at my uncle’s house. That time we went for my dad’s birthday so he could celebrate with his brothers. My mom had already told them we were coming, so they borrowed a pool and made grilled meat. They also brought in an impersonator of a singer he really likes.

The next day we went to the ranch “21 de Marzo” which is where my grandmother used to live. There, they usually organize big dances on the weekends and invite the whole town, so we went to one.

Another day I went with my cousins to the movies and bowling, and that same night there was another party, so we went back to the ranch. When we returned home, they cut my hair because I wanted bangs.

Even though we only stayed a few days, it was a great break from the previous semester, which felt very exhausting because of several activities.
